Q-Life family Clinic is partnering with Waka Community International to host a walk which is slated for the 7th of May 2022. We believe this walk would be beneficial to individuals, communities and all organizations involved for numerous reasons which are listed in the attached overview of the event. The plan is to cover five kilometres (5kms).
Walking...
- Is one of the simplest and easiest forms of exercise.
- Improves cholesterol levels and lowers risks of certain diseases such as heart attacks and certain cancers.
- Helps keep us happy, fit and healthy!
- When done alone, it allows for quiet reflection.
- When done in a group, it allows for connectivity and synergy.
Benefits to your organization
- Improve chances of potentially having fitter, leaner, healthier, happier individuals.
- Camaraderie and bonding with the respective teams from Waka community international, Q-life Family Clinic, and from Health Emergency Initiative (HEI).
- Could have more enthusiastic and productive workforce.
- An opportunity for a boost in customer acquisition via physical networking with numerous participants that will be present on the day.
- Global and local visibility as an organization that cares about health & wellness.
Before we embark on our walk...
- All participants will receive branded t-shirts and towels.
- To ensure success, there will be music (to make for a fun walk), ambulance (for unforeseen issues), police (for crowd control) and LASTMA (for traffic control).
- Light refreshment and music
