Q-Life was founded by the late Dr. Funmi Alakija. She was a Primary Healthcare Physician and a Specialist in Travel Medicine with a diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons & Physicians, Glasgow. She was a member of the International Society for Travel Medicine (ISTM). She also had certified training in Ultrasonography from the Thomas Jefferson University, U.S.A. and family planning training from the Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria. She was an alumnus of the Lagos Business School. She had a Masters Degree in Public Health from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos and participated in many charitable works.
Dr. Ade Alakija is currently the Medical Director. He graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos in 1980 and is a medical doctor with over 38 years of practice and management skills. He is a full member of the faculty of Travel Medicine [MFTM, RCPS(Glasg)] of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow and a member of the International Society for Travel Medicine (ISTM). He has a Diploma in Travel Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow and the Certificate in Travel Health (CTH®) from ISTM. He also has an Executive MBA from the IESE Business School, Spain and is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School. He is a member of the International Panel Physicians' Association (IPPA).
Dr. Olayinka Olowojolu is a part of the management team of the Clinic. He has post graduate training in Public Health and Infectious Diseases. He also has certificates in HIV/AIDS Prevention, Treatment, Care and Support, Global Tuberculosis Clinical Management and Research as well as Leadership and Management in Health from different prestigious institutes. He is a member of the Society for Quality Healthcare in Nigeria (SQHN), the International Society for Infectious Diseases (ISID) and the International Panel Physicians' Association (IPPA).
Adeola Olatunde-Adebowale is the Head, Business Support and Finance with over 10 years cognate experience spanning Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Corporate Finance, Credit Control, Banking Operations, Compliance and Forensic Accounting. She oversees the administration and management of the clinic’s financial and non-medical departments.
Adeola is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Certified Forensic Accountant with a degree from the University of Lagos and holds a National Diploma in Accounting from Lagos State Polytechnic. She is a seasoned and versatile Accountant with experience garnered from the Banking, Maritime, Manufacturing, Telecommunications and Health Sectors.
Dr Bukola Adeniyi (FWACP) is a Consultant Family Physician and head of Family Practice at Q-Life Family clinic. She manages patients from all walks of life and has experiences in managing variety of medical conditions including emergencies. She is also skilled in provision of family planning services, men and women wellness and occupational health. She is also a practicing Travel Medicine Physician and a member of the Nigerian Society of Travel Medicine.
